NORWAY \/ THE NETHERLANDS\u00a0Pinovo has taken another important step in industrial safety. During a working visit to Norway, Wiebe and Nico from Pinovo Netherlands discussed the successful results of the Chromium-6<\/a> certification with the team. The validation was carried out by\u00a0SEEF Works B.V.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0on behalf of\u00a0Perspect Benelux B.V.\u00a0and confirms that Pinovo\u2019s vacuum blasting technology can be safely and reliably used when working with\u00a0Chromium-6 containing coatings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extensive Testing at High Chromium-6 Concentrations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SEEF Works tested the Pinovo technology on specially prepared test plates containing high concentrations of Chromium-6 (Cr(VI)), reaching levels of up to\u00a025,000 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measurements were conducted in an enclosed space without ventilation in order to simulate a\u00a0worst-case scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results demonstrate that even under these extreme conditions, the Pinovo technique generates only\u00a0minimal levels of Cr(VI) in the breathing zone. In addition, all wipe samples remained\u00a0below the detection limit, confirming that no Cr(VI)-containing dust was found in the surrounding environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the test results,\u00a0SEEF Works<\/strong>\u00a0concluded that the Pinovo vacuum blasting technology meets the\u00a0highest standards for safety, health and environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The technology has been assessed as a\u00a0reliable and responsible solution\u00a0for removing or treating surfaces containing Chromium-6 coatings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SEEF recommends that users verify the application of the technology annually through exposure measurements<\/strong>, in accordance with legal requirements for CMR substances<\/strong>, to ensure that safety remains structurally safeguarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
